Terms of sale
These terms apply to products bought from Refined Skincare. The seller is Rachel Storey trading as Refined Medical Aesthetics, Double Row, Seaton Delaval NE25 0PP, hello@refinedmedicalaesthetics.uk.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. I'm not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. You pay at checkout by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna. Klarna is provided by Klarna Bank AB; borrowing more than you can afford could affect your credit score.
Delivery
UK delivery is by Royal Mail Tracked 48 for £3.95, free on orders over £50, or you can collect free from the clinic. Orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 working days. See delivery & collection.
Your order
Our contract starts when I email your order confirmation. I order products from WBCo for you after you buy; in the rare case WBCo can't supply something, I'll tell you straight away and refund that item in full.
Using the products
Product information is general and is not medical advice. Patch test new products and stop using anything that irritates your skin. If you have a skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, please check with a healthcare professional first.
Subscriptions
You can subscribe to most products and have them delivered every 1, 2 or 3 months. Before you pay, your bag and the payment page show the price, how often you'll be charged and how to cancel, and you tick a box to confirm you understand the payments.
- What you pay: the shop price of the products you choose, charged to your card on the day you subscribe and then on the same date every 1, 2 or 3 months until you cancel. There is no subscriber discount. Instead, every subscription order comes with free Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery, or free collection from the clinic. If you're a Rituals Club member, your member discount applies instead.
- Reminders: I'll email you a few days before every payment (the number of days is shown before you subscribe) with the date, the amount and a link to skip, change or cancel. If you gave a mobile number, you'll get a short text too.
- Skip, pause or change: on your subscription page you can skip the next delivery, pause, change how often it comes, and update your card or address, at any time.
- Cancel any time: cancel online on your subscription page in a couple of taps, or by replying to any of my emails. There's no minimum term and no fee. Nothing more is charged after you cancel, and anything you've already paid for is still sent. I'll email you to confirm.
- Your 14 day right to cancel: you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your first order and return unopened products for a refund, as set out in the returns policy. The same applies to each later order.
- Your price: stays as it was when you subscribed. If I ever need to change it, I'll email you before your next payment so you can skip, change or cancel first.
- Failed payments: if a payment doesn't go through, I'll let you know by email and text and Stripe will try again over the next few days. Orders are only sent once paid.
Subscription payments are taken by Stripe; I never see your full card details.
